1. Who are you and where in the world are you primarily based and where are you located right now?
I am Adeyemi Samuel Adebesin aka YemiConga, i am based in South Africa ,Johannesburg
2.What do you do, how would you describe your presence in the industry, what's your mission?
I am a professional Session Percussionist and Artist, I represent African Rhythm and drums in the industry which makes my presence vital and my mission is to spread the news of "The art of Rhythm and musicianship".
3. How long have you been doing this?
I have been playing Percussions since i was a kid from home cutleries to church drums. but proffessionally for over 10years now
4. Notable moments in your career?
So hard to choose, I have hard many notable moments in my career, but been chosen to represent West Africa, Nigeria at the 4th World Art and Culture opening in Africa for the 1st time in Johannesburg was the notable moment of my career
5. What's the best and worst part of what you do?
The best part is that, i am happy whenever i have to play my congas and the worst part is when i am not busy
6. A little about you?
I am a naturally gifted percussionist/ African Drummer, creative writer, poet, song writer and very optimistic. I love music with passion and love God with all my heart. Only music genius out of 5 siblings, born in Lagos but hail from Abeokuta, Ogun state.
7. Where do you see yourself in 10 years
In 10 years i want to be a world renowned percussionist, Artist and See the African drum Drum festival birthed
8. What do you do for relaxing/fun/chilling out?
I watch movies, listen to music, talk a walk and eat out
9.What advice do you have for others inspired by you?
Be optimistic, never let anything stop you from reaching your dreams and be persistent
10.Message for your fans, haters,critics
I thank God for my fans and all, i will like them to keep supporting my career and music
11. Do you have your own Music
Oh Yes, its on radio stations in lagos and other part of western Nigeria for now, My Single is tilted "Iya Elepa"
